선교협력을 위한 MOU 체결
본교는 8월 10일(목) (사)한국OM과 교류 및 상호협력을 위한 선교협력을 체결하였다.
양 기관은 깊은 이해와 유대 관계를 강화하고 전 세계의 복음화 및 하나님 나라 확장을 위하여 상호 협력하기로 했다.
본 협약은 국제 인재 양성을 위해 양 기관이 서로 협력함을 목적으로 한다. (사)한국OM이 전 세계 147여 개국에 있는 OM사역지에서 사역할 기회를 제공하며, 본교는 학생들의 참여를 적극 권장한다. 본교 학생이 (사)한국OM에서 제공하는 (1년과정) Global Challenge Program 혹은 (2년과정) Global Action Program으로 지원하였을 경우, 허입 시험과 국내 지부 훈련을 면제하고, 합숙훈련과 해외 타문화 선교 훈련만으로 선교사 허입 혜택을 제공한다. 또한 (사)한국OM에서 제공하는 3개월 이상 6개월 미만의 Short Term Program에 참여하는 경우, 상기 OM선교사역 (On the Job Training)을 학점으로 인정한다.
협약식은 본교의 초청으로 본교 컨퍼런스룸에서 이루어졌다. 협약식에는 (사)한국OM 측의 조은태 대표와 한국OM 훈련원장 김일권 선교사가 참석하였고, 횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교 측은 김윤희 총장과 박형진 선교학과장과 김아영 선교학 교수, 이석규 기획발전실장이 참석하였다.
MOU for Mission Cooperation
On the 10th of August, OM Korea and Torch Trinity Graduate University signed an agreement for mutual exchange and cooperation.
The two institutions agreed to mutually copperate to nurture global talent and fulfill the mission of evangelization of the world. OM Korea provides the opportunity to work at the mission sites of OM in the 147 nations worldwide. For the TTGU students who applies for Global Challege Program (one-year program) or Global Action Program (two-year program), the benefits for the admitted missionary are provided on the condition of completing the training camp and cross-cultural mission training overseas. That is, the admission test and the domestic branch training of OM are waived. Also, for TTGU students who participate in the Short-Term Program, which is longer than three months and less than six months run by OM Korea, OM Missionary Ministry (on the job training) is admitted as credits. TTGU encourages students to participate in the programs provided by OM Korea.
The MOU ceremony took place at the Conference Room at the invitation of Torch Trinity Graduate University. It was attended by Mr. Cho Eun Tae as the representative of OM Korea, Mr. Kim Il Kwon as the representative of OM Mission Training Center, and by Dr. Kim Yoon-Hee as the president of TTGU, Dr. Park Hyung Jin as the chair of the Mission Department, Dr. Kim Ah Young as a professor of mission Department, and Mr. Lee Seog-Kyu as the executive director of Planning & Development.
