횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교 - 캄보디아 라이프 대학교 MOU 체결
횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교는 6월 13일(목) 캄보디아의 라이프대학교(Life University, 총장 구견회)와 교류 및 상호 협력을 위한 교류협력 협약을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 교육을 통해 복음을 땅끝까지 전하고, 국제적인 인재양성을 위하여 상호 협력함을 목적으로 한다. 이에 양 기관은 기독교 복음전파와 선교활성화를 위한 인재 양성 및 공동회의, 워크샵, 실습 등 학술활동의 기회를 넓히고, 기타 선교사역 및 상호 발전을 위하여 교류 협력하기로 했다.
본교의 오덕교 총장은 “두 학교가 힘을 모아 선교와 교육에 협력한다면 큰 발전이 있을 것으로 기대되며, 특히 동남아에서 가장 가능성 있는 나라 중에 한 곳인 캄보디아에 있는 라이프대학교와의 협력을 매우 자랑스럽고, 기쁘게 생각합니다.”고 말했다. 이에 라이프대학교의 구견회 총장은 “양 기관 모두 하나님을 경외하며 특별한 비전을 가지고 하나님의 나라를 확장하며 기독교지도자를 양성하는데 헌신하고 있습니다. 이에 다양한 교육 프로그램, 연구 프로젝트, 선교 활동에서 긴밀히 협력할 수 있다고 생각합니다. 앞으로 실제적인 교류가 다양하게 이루어지길 희망합니다.”며 화답하였다.
협약식은 본교의 초청으로 본교 강의동 컨퍼런스룸에서 이루어졌다. 협약식에는 라이프대학교 측의 구견회 총장을 비롯하여 민혜순 이사장, 박을종 대외협력처 부총장, 임성운 대외협력처장, 안문숙 인문언어대 교수, Im Sam Kol 신학대 신학과장, 허경진 대외협력처 과장이 참석했고, 본교 측은 오덕교 총장과 안한나 교학처장, 박종석 사무처장, 이석규 기획발전실장, 박수인 교학과장, 이혜수 기획발전실 과장이 참석하였다.
TTGU signed MOU with Life University in Cambodia
Torch Trinity Graduate University has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Life University in Cambodia for mutual cooperation and exchange on June 13, 2024.
The purpose of this mutual agreement is to cooperate each other in order to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth through education and to develop internationally recognized leaders. Practical mutual cooperation activities shall include the following ones: Training human resources for Christian evangelization and missionary activity; Opportunities for academic activities such as joint conferences, workshops, practicums; Other activities deemed necessary for missionary work and the development of both institutions.
President Oh Deok Kyo of TTGU said, “If the two schools cooperate in missions and education, great progress is expecting. In particular, we are very proud of our cooperation with Life University in Cambodia, one of the countries with the most potential in Southeast Asia.”. In response, President Koo Kyun Hoe of Life University said “Both institutions fear God, have a special vision, and are dedicated to expanding the kingdom of God and nurturing Christian leaders. Accordingly, we believe we can collaborate closely on various educational programs, research projects, and missionary activities. I hope that various practical exchanges will take place in the future.”
The MOU ceremony took place at the Conference Room at the invitation of Torch Trinity Graduate University. It was attended by Dr. Koo Kyen Hoe as the President of Life University, Ms. Min Hye Soon as the Chairperson, Dr. Park Eul Jong as the Vice-President of International Affairs, Mr. Yim Sung woon as the Director of International Affairs, Ms. Ahn Moon Sook as a professor, Mr. Im Samkol as the Head of Theology Department, Ms. Heo Kyung Jin as the Head of International Affairs, and by Dr. Oh Deok Kyo as the President of TTGU, Dr. Hannah S. An as the Dean of Academic Programs, Mr. Park Jong Suk as the Executive Director of Business affairs, Mr. Lee Seog Kyu as the Executive Director of Planning & Development, Ms. Park Suin, the Director of Academic and Admissions, Ms. Lee Hye Soo, the Director of Planning & Development.
