We are a new school plant, to say it in simple terms. First Presbyterian Day School was founded in September 1970 in Macon, Georgia, and today is home to over 780 students and over 3,000 alumni. The elementary school was named a national Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education in 2003, and the middle school was named a national Blue Ribbon School in 2012. The elementary school was again awarded the Blue Ribbon in 2015.
The Global Campus opening here in Seoul, Korea near Olympic Park is not a "sister school", but a direct school plant by FPD Macon with a vision to provide more students with guidance on how to use their God-given talents to serve others, explore their talents, and reach their goals. FPD provides students with a comprehensive academic and faith foundation to prepare them for college and beyond. The biggest advantage of being part of our global campus is that both students and faculty will have an opportunity to move to the home campus. We can also help you get an initial ACSI teaching license.
We are looking for English speaking teachers who are passionate about caring for the students' academic and character growth. We currently will be opening up classes from Kindergarten to 4th Grade, and we welcome teachers who are able to teach Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. 우리는 간단히 말하자면 새로운 개척학교입니다. First Presbyterian Day 학교는 1970년 9월 조지아주 Macon에서 설립되었고, 오늘날 780명이 넘는 학생들과 3,000명이 넘는 동문들이 있습니다. 초등학교는 2003년 미국 교육부에 의해 국립 블루 리본 학교로 명명되었고, 중학교는 2012년 국립 블루 리본 학교로 명명되었습니다. 그리고 초등학교는 2015년에 다시 블루 리본을 수상했습니다.
한국 잠실 올림픽공원옆에 글로벌 캠퍼스를 여는 것은 "자매 학교"가 아니라 더 많은 학생들에게 하나님이 주신 재능을 다른 사람들을 위해 사용하고, 재능을 탐구하고, 목표에 도달하는 방법에 대한 지침을 제공하는 비전을 가진 FPD Macon의 직속 학교입니다. FPD는 학생들에게 종합적인 학업 및 신앙 기반을 제공하여 대학 및 그 이상을 위해 준비하는 것을 도와줍니다. 글로벌 캠퍼스의 일부가 되는 것의 가장 큰 이점은 학생과 교직원 모두가 홈 캠퍼스로 이동할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 된다는 것입니다. 또한 초기 ACSI 교사 자격증을 취득하는 데 도움을 드릴 수 있습니다.
