횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교 - 미국 조지아센트럴대학교 MOU 체결

 

 

 

횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교(이하 TTGU)는 3월 12일(수) 조지아센트럴대학교(이하 GCU)와 교류 및 상호 협력을 위한 교류협력 협약을 체결했다.

 

이번 협약은 교육, 연구 및 기타 활동 분야에서 학문적, 문화적 교류의 상호 발전을 위한 협력, 협조 및 교환 관계를 맺기로 합의하였다. 특히, 교수진 및 행정 인력의 방문, 훈련 및 강의를 통한 교환, 학술 및 연구 자료의 교환, 상호 신뢰와 협력을 바탕으로 상생 관계를 발전시키고 강화하는 구체적인 실행 계획 수립하고자 하였다.

 

본교의 오덕교 총장은 “GCU는 미국에서 한인들이 설립한 대학교로 무척 자랑스럽고 이러한 대학교와 교육, 연구 등에 관한 교류로 협력할 수 있게 되어 기쁘게 생각합니다. 앞으로 두 학교가 서로 협력하며 발전할 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다. 이에 GCU의 김창환 총장은 “우리 두 학교가 이번 협약과 같이 협력 관계를 가지고 운영을 하면, 서로 상생하는데 힘이 될 것이며, TTGU 교수님들이 연구목적으로 미국에 오셔도 모두에게 큰 도움이 되지 않을까 생각합니다. 이번 협약식을 통해서 많은 기대가 됩니다.”며 화답하였다.

 

협약식은 본교의 초청으로 본교 강의동 컨퍼런스룸에서 이루어졌다. 협약식에는 GCU 측의 김창환 총장을 비롯하여 이호연 부총장, 김희철 음대학장, 김영수 교수, 이현철 교수가 참석했고, 본교 측은 오덕교 총장과 안한나 교학처장, 김진혁 학생처장, 이석규 기획발전실장이 참석하였다.  끝.

 

Torch Trinity Graduate University (TTGU) signed an exchange and cooperation agreement with Georgia Central University (GCU) on Wednesday, March 12.

 

This agreement aims to establish a relationship of collaboration, cooperation, and exchange in pursuit of the mutual development of academic and cultural exchange in the areas of education, research, and other activities. In particular, it seeks to establish a concrete action plan to strengthen and develop a mutually beneficial relationship based on mutual trust and cooperation, through faculty and administrative staff visits, training and lectures, and the exchange of academic and research materials.

 

President Dr. Oh Deok Kyo of TTGU said, “GCU is a university established by Koreans in the United States, and I am very proud of that. I am glad to be able to cooperate through exchanges in education, research, and other areas with such a university. I expect that both schools will collaborate and grow together in the future." In response, President Dr. Kim Chang-hwan of GCU stated, "If our two universities maintain a cooperative relationship as we have in this agreement, it will be beneficial for both sides. I also believe that it will be of great help to all when TTGU professors visit the United States for research purposes. I have high expectations for this agreement."

 

This MOU ceremony took place at the conference room at the invitation of Torch Trinity Graduate University. It was attended by Dr. Kim Chang-hwan (Paul C. Kim) as the President of GCU, along with Dr. Lee Ho Yeon as the Vice President, Dr. Kim Hee Churl as the Dean of the College of Music, Professor Kim Young Su, and Professor Lee Hyun Chul. On TTGU’s side, Dr. Oh Deok Kyo as the President, Dr. Ahn Hannah S. as the Dean of Academic Program, Dr. Kim Jin Hyok as the Dean of Student Affairs, and Mr. Lee Seok Gyu as the Executive Director of Planning and Development  were present.
