WOGA KOREA 2007

You’ve probably heard about the upcoming WOGA conference and you may even be in interested but what exactly is WOGA? Well, it stands for "Women of Global Action"?and it’s more than just a “conference for women”. It’s a passion movement for the mobilization and equipping Christian women from all parts of the globe to be leaders who will impact their respective nations with the Gospel message.

As we approach the opening of WOGA 2007, we are embarking into uncharted territory. WOGA 2007 marks the world's first global mission conference for women with over 1, 200 women delegates from 80 countries. .

The first of anything always begs the question, “Why now?” The answer is simple. After 3 years of prayer and preparation, those prayer warriors felt a strong need to proactively engage the 6,721 unreached ethnic groups. Thus, under the banner "Speed Up!", WOGA 2007 aims to raise up reapers for the plentiful harvest (Matthew 9:37-38). This will be accomplished by strategically training women to be agents of change in their communities.

The conference will be held from Monday, October 15th ? Friday, October 19th, 2007 at the Torch Mission Center in Yangjae-dong. With morning and evening sessions, as well as afternoon workshops, each day of the conference will feature the following themes: Renewal (15th), Power (16th), Transformation (17th), Unity (18th) and Vision (19th). The highlight of the conference will be Thursday evening’s Great Revival Rally beginning at 6 p.m. at the Olympic Stadium. This rally is open to all and everyone is encouraged to bring family and friends.

This conference promises to have a profound impact on all the participants from the international delegates to the speakers, sponsors and volunteers. Come and be a part of this great movement.
