| Dr. Hannah S. An joined Torch Trinity in 2015. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (BA), Chongshin University (MDiv), Harvard Divinity School at Harvard University (MTS), and Princeton Theological Seminary (PhD). She was also a visiting student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Rothberg International School) in Israel. Dr. An’s primary research area is the Pentateuch and her dissertation focused on the ritual prescriptions of Leviticus 4-5. Other research interests include ethical and ritual laws of the Pentateuch, theology of sin and redemption, priestly leadership, reception history of Leviticus in Christian and Jewish literature, ancient Near Eastern ritual texts, and Northwest Semitic epigraphy. As an ordained minister by KAICAM (Korean Association of Independent Churches and Missions), Dr. An is committed to serving the church of Christ through teaching and preaching the Word of God. |
