| Dr. Hyun Joo Oh joined Torch Trinity as a full-time faculty member of Christian education in 2011. After graduating from Ewha Womans University (Seoul) with a bachelor of arts in sociology, she went to the United States, where she studied Christian education at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University (La Mirada, CA). She received both MA and PhD degrees from Talbot. The advisor for her dissertation work was Dr. Klaus Issler. In California, she served as a children's pastor at local Korean-American churches for four years. After she returned to Korea, she worked as a researcher at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Chongshin University for two years. She also taught Christian education courses at different universities and seminaries, including Chongshin University, Seoul Theological University, ACTS, Yonsei University and Hoseo University, as well as Torch Trinity. |
