Spring 2019 Course Registration Guidelines

2019학년도 봄학기 수강신청 안내

Spring 2019 Course Registration Period:

Feb. 11(Mon), 10am ? Feb. 15(Fri), 5pm

1. General Guidelines

1) Course schedule: New Online Service > Notice Board (Excel file)

* Course schedules may conflict with other required courses in case a student delays taking a required course and this may delay graduation.

2) Course Syllabus: New Online Service > Courses > Search for Offered Courses (Search for 2019, Spring)

- First day of class for Spring 2019: Mar. 4(M), 2019

2. Guidelines by Programs

1) E/K MDiv, E-MACC, MEd

- Select tracks during the course registration period.

* New Online Service: [Records] > [Selecting Track] > Desired Track

2) MDiv/MTS

- MDiv/MTS students may take other programs' (MA, MEd, ThM, MWCM) courses as electives except for some courses which are blocked.

3) Field Education (F/E): MACE/MEd

Make sure you register for the Field Education I-III if you are planning to fulfill the field education (F/E) in Spring 2019. Students who have registered will be able to pass this requirement when submitting to department chair

MACE program - 3 times

MEd program - 2 times

4) MA Christian Counseling Students: Practicum & Supervision Classes

Students are to register for Practicum and Supervision classes together. Registering for only one of the two will be permitted only in retaking cases.

5) PhD

- Dissertation writers who have currently registered for Dissertation I for this semester can register for Dissertation II for Spring 2019. (No more retaking Dissertation II)

- English PhD participants who wish to apply for individual Guided Researches for courses which are not offered in Spring 2019, should fill out the application form and get the approval from the professor and submit to the Academic/Admissions Office either during the registration period.

6) For ACSI Teacher's certificate Pursuing Students

MDiv, MA CE, ThM CE Students who are pursuing ACSI Teacher's certificate should find out and take the required courses for earning the certificate

3. Retake/ Course Substitution/ Cross Registration Guidelines

- English-program students may take up to 3 credits (up to 5 credits for EMDiv) of Korean-program course throughout their studies.

- For full-time students, course add/drop will be available after tuition payment.

1. 강의시간표 및 강의계획서

1) 강의시간표는 New Online Service 의 Notice 란 (엑셀파일) 에서 확인이 가능합니다.

필수과목 이수를 연기할 경우, 향후 다른 필수과목과 수업시간표가 중복될 수 있으며, 졸업이 연기될 수 있습니다.

2) 강의계획서는 New Online Service > 수업업무 > 개설강좌조회메뉴 (2019, Spring로 검색) 에서 확인 가능합니다. .

2. 과정별 안내사항

1) 트랙선택안내

MDiv- 3학기 차 수강신청기간 내에 트랙을 선택하여주십시오.

* New Online Service: [학적업무] > [트랙선택] > 희망트랙 선택

2) MDiv/MTS 과정

MDiv/MTS 학생들은 다른 과정 (MA, MEd, ThM, MWCM) 개설 수업들을 선택과목으로 수강할 수 있습니다. 단, 일부 타과정수강불가 과목은 제외됨.

3) 현장실습안내: MA CE/ MEd

위 과정의 학생들은 재학기간 중에 3학기 (MEd는 2학기)의 현장실습을 이수해야 합니다. 현장실습 I-III (GI1010-1030)을 수강신청하여 주시기 바랍니다. 수강신청을 한 학생들은 학기 중 현장실습을 한 후, 지도교수/사역기관의 확인을 받은 현장실습보고서를 종강 전 까지 담당 교수님에게 (MA, MEd학과장) 제출할 경우, 현장실습을 이수하게 됩니다.

* EXPAT 학생들도 현장실습을 이수해야 합니다.

4) MA 기독교상담학과: 상담실습 및 상담수퍼비전 수업

상담실습 및 상담수퍼비전 수업은 반드시 동시에 수강신청해야합니다. 두 과목 중 한 과목만 신청하는 것은 재수강신청자에 한하여 가능합니다.

5) PhD

- 현재학기에 PhD 논문지도 I 신청하였고 다음학기에 논문을 계속 진행하고자 하는 경우 논문지도 II 를 신청할 수 있습니다.

- EPhD 학생으로서 2018학년도 가을학기 개설과목 외의 Individual Guided Research 신청 희망 시에는 신청서를 작성하여 담당교수의 승인을 받은 후 수강신청기간까지 제출하여주십시오.

6) ACSI 교사자격증 취득 관련 유의사항

ACSI 전문교사자격증 취득을 목표로 하는 MDiv, MA(CE), ThM(CE)과정 학생들은 자격증 취득에 필요한 필수과목들을 확인하여 이수하시기 바랍니다.

3. 재수강/대체과목수강/교차수강 안내

- 한국어과정 학생이 영어과정 과목을 수강하는 경우: 필수과목/선택과목의 제한 없이 수강신청 가능함

- 영어과정 학생이 한국어과정 과목을 수강하는 경우: 재학기간 중 3학점 (MDiv과정은 5학점)까지 수강신청 가능함

* 2019학년도 봄학기 수강정정기간: 3/4(월), 10:00am - 9(토), 3:30pm

- 수강정정은 등록금 납부 후에 가능합니다 (단, Expat과정은 수강정정 후 등록금을 납부함).
