Notice for Novel Coronavirus Infection Prevention and Control
Torch Trinity Graduate University will implement measures to prevent the spread and infection of the Novel Coronavirus. We request your understanding and prayer.
1. Changes in Academic Schedule for Spring 2020
A. Postponement of starting date: Mon, Mar. 16 –2 weeks delayed
14 weeks classes and 1week of make-up class according to each professor’s discretion. (E.g. online lecture)
Last day of final week: Sat, Jun. 20 –1 week delayed (class make-up due: Sat, Jun. 27]
※ Students who have been traveling overseas for the past month should stay in their homes before the semester begins and pay attention to their health. Please refrain from other international travel during the two-week delay period, so please work together to start the semester on March 16th.
B. Academic Schedule Changes
Mar. 2-10 Tuition Payment for Continuing Student
Mar. 16-21 Course Add/Drop Period
Mar. 20/23 Bible Exam/Comprehensive Exam (Master’s programs)
*The schedule is subject to change depending on the development of the coronavirus situation.
2. Yangjae Dormitory
A. International student residing abroad should move in until Fri, Feb. 21, and be assigned one room per person, and be kept in quarantine for two weeks. (personal meal will be provided)
B. Other students who have no travel history are allowed to move in from Thu, Mar. 12.
C. Everyone is required to hand in the medical report before move-in.
3. Changes in School Event
A. 2nd New Student Orientation scheduled on Tue, Feb. 25 is postponed to Tue, Mar. 10.
B. School retreat on Tue, Mar. 10 will not happen on that day, and we’ll announce later for the re-scheduled event.
C. TTGU’s general policy will be to postpone/cancel all major events on campus until the national infectious disease alert level is lowered following the government’s guideline.
4. Class absence and stop-out
A. In case of self-isolators due to respiratory disease, fever and cough, and confirmed coronavirus, the class absence is admitted.
B. A student who is absent up to 4 weeks in this regard will be considered a special stop-out. (Including new student)

신종 코로나바이러스로 확산 방지를 위한 긴급 조치 알림
횃불트리니티신학대학원대학교는 신종 코로나바이러스 확산 방지를 위해 학사운영기준을 아래와 같이 변경합니다. 여러분의 깊은 이해와 기도를 부탁드립니다.
1. 학사일정 변경
A. 개강일: 2020. 3. 16. 월 – 2주 연기
14주 수업 진행, 1주는 교수의 재량에 따라 보강 (예: 온라인 강좌)
종강일: 2020. 6. 20. 토 – 1주 연기 (보강마감일: 2020. 6. 27토)
※ 지난 한 달 이내 해외여행을 다녀온 재학생 여러분은 개강 전까지 자택에 머무르며 건강에 유의하여 주시기 바랍니다. 개강이 2주 연기된 기간 동안 다른 해외여행은 자제하여서, 3월 16일에 학기를 시작할 수 있도록 모두 협력해주시기 바랍니다.

2. 양재기숙사 운영안내
A. 해외거주 외국인신입생: 2020. 2. 21 (금)까지 입사, 2주간 개인실에 거주하며 외부출입 금지 (도시락 제공)
B. 해외여행력이 없는 그 외의 학생: 2020. 3. 12 (목) 이후 입사
C. 기숙사 입사 전 건강진단서 제출 필수
3. 교내행사 변경 안내
A. 신입생 오리엔테이션: 2/25 (화) 예정되었던 신입생 오리엔테이션은 3/10 (화)로 연기함.
B. 학생수련회: 3/10 (화) 예정되었던 학생수련회는 연기하며, 추후 일정 결정시 재공지함.
C. 그 외 교내행사는 정부의 관리기준이 변경되기 전까지 연기 혹은 취소를 원칙으로 함.
4. 휴학 및 유고결석 안내
A. 호흡기질환, 발열, 기침 증상으로 인한 자가격리자 및 신종 코로나바이러스 확진자의 경우 유고결석이 인정됨.
B. 이와 관련 최대 4주 이상 결석하는 경우 특별휴학으로 인정됨. (신입생 포함)
