Overview
The Master of Theological Studies (MTS) is a 2-year professional program in general theological studies. The MTS program is designed to foster a theological perspective for professionals and leaders in their respective fields. Thus, the coursework is broad, covering all the major theological and foundational disciplines while emphasizing practical and applied disciplines. Biblical languages and preaching courses are not required for MTS students. The MTS is neither normally accepted as a degree for ordained ministry, nor does it normally meet minimal prerequisites for entrance into most doctoral programs in theology or biblical studies. The MTS program is available either as a Korean-language program in the evenings, or as an English-language program under the Expat Program.
